I seem to notice the high level runs odds are you are not getting them because people don't even click the loot window at the bottom >_<; I tend to give them out to DD's as I normally run as a tank. The healers i've been getting seem awful full of themselves or just suck up pruds.
I think I've gotten one as a DD when I ran as DRG and the other 3 I have were when I tanked (mostly low level things) the 5th of the 5 i have total i got into a 8man with a friend through random grouping o-O
I think it'll be a while before i get to 300 for the barding I want >_<
At higher levels, I wouldn't be surprised if the lack of commending isn't due to simple arrogance.
These are likely the same people that refuse to roll on items unless it is something they can use or want for an alt class.
Um... no, not really. There's these things called USB keyboards, that 99% of PS3 players use. People don't talk because they're antisocial and just want to get done with the multiplayer crap so they can get back to their MMO single player RPG simulator. Assuming that PS3 players are the root of EVERY problem is arrogant and foolish. You should be ashamed.
it's rather funny really. I did a duty roulette on my lvl 38(?) whm today. sastasha. everyone else was lvl 50. I was the only one who rolled on the gear. I GREEDED. it was so odd. I won every piece, even asked if someone would mind if I needed on the barret since I've been trying to get that forever...
I felt bad for 'winning' everything and really, really feeling 'greedy' for using 'greed' because everyone else wasn't rolling at all. lol.
don't think anyone voted after that, either. I tried, but people had already left -.-
Why take so long to give a commendation? It's just 3 clicks. I always give mine within a few seconds and then I'm out.
I agree with an earlier post. It feels awkward if I just stand around waiting for a commendation.
that moment when i am just standing around waiting for players to leave to loot the treasures we skipped and not for a commendation.
I always commend dps who outperform the rest of the group because I know when I see a good DPS is carrying the group, or being generally more helpful.I seem to notice the high level runs odds are you are not getting them because people don't even click the loot window at the bottom >_<; I tend to give them out to DD's as I normally run as a tank. Unfortunately, I bet there are and always will be too many people who blindly think that a peon tank just sitting there and taking hits, or a mindless heal-bot doing the bare minimum, passes for good performance.
I try to award commendations based on who is the most helpful, or the most chatty (good chatty, not berating people chatty). If no one really talks then I look at how people are preforming. Are the DD's attacking the right mobs and moving out of stuff, is the healer constantly active, is the tank marking and reasonably holding aggro/using cooldowns... I have had a few instances where the person I wanted to give a mark to left before I had the chance to do it.
I am getting them pretty easily as DD and healer. It could be a PS3 thing, or some members may be pre-grouped (and can't vote), and some get out fast, and others miss it because the button's by the loot warning. It's still a new feature, so give it a week or two until people work it into their routine![]()
