commendations are really depressing

I've already gotten a few myself I think a lot of people just don't think about it. I usually don't like to hang around and chat once we've finished, so at first I was just exiting right away after saying "Thanks!" without even thinking about it. I didn't mean any disrespect by it, it's just what I've always done.

Why does everyone insta-leave at the end of a good run? I can't even give commendations to people because they bail so fast.

In PVP nearly -every- fight has everyone bailing instantly as well
It's just getting really depressing, like no one actually cares about the team they just won with.

In all fairness, if you enter with a friend, it won't let you. =/ We had a pickup bard in our grp the other night that I wanted to give one to but I didn't have the option.

Feels awkward waiting around in hopes you get recognition for your play. Doesn't really matter that much to me.

How to easily get commendations:
Play PLD, WAR, SCH, or WHM even remotely decent.

How to never get commendations:
Play SMN, BLM, BRD, DRG, or MNK at all.

I make it a point to always give my commendations to a damage dealer, assuming they weren't compete morons, but the 1 commendation limit is pretty depressing. The amount of commendations should be half the party size.

i got commendations when playing my brd , even my drg , folllow marks , do dmg look for mobs that agro the healer and pull them to tank (or CC ) , do your DPS thing and avoid aoe....if u chat a bit btw pulls better

i give my commendation to the 1 i think deserved it the most , and yup sometimes i give it to a DPS
