FFXIV and issue with computer becoming unresponsive.

Since patch 2.1 I have been having serious issue with the game. I am not sure if its necessarily something with the game, but I don't have this issue at any other time than when playing FFXIV. It's not my game freezing or crashing or anything, everything just goes unresponsive. EVERYTHING. I cannot move my mouse or use my keyboard. It's not even the computer freezing because i can watch my screen and see everything that others around me are doing.

I don't even know how this could be the game causing this problem, and I am open to any and all suggestions on how to fix this. So far this only happens when playing FFXIV, and it usually kicks in within 10~30 mins of being online.

Same thing has been happening to me since 2.1. Extremely frustrating and each time I have to force shutdown my computer.

    This never happened pre-2.1

I recently tried updating my video card drivers, didn't fix it, so i updated to beta drivers and that seems to have worked. Just check that your drivers are up to date, and maybe download any beta drivers in the process just to be safe. using gtx 760 sli.
