    What's Going On With Ifrit HM?

    I've done this fight several times since the patch and it's a LOT harder now. Garuda EX was easier. Stun almost never works on eruptions and the fight is a lot longer and more taxing. Is this intended? And if so, what about the other HM primals? I thought they were going to be made easier over time, not harder. I can only imagine what an even harder Titan HM would look like. And this seems doubly strange with all the people that already have relics and the fact that you can get an i90 weapon from the EX quest line. It seems awkward to have HM primals that close to the power level of extreme ones.

    Stun resist (and all other debuff resist) decays differently now and was mentioned in the patch notes. Now the countdown resets whenever you successfully land the debuff, instead of it ticking down the first time you apply it.

    This is partially why they weakened the damage Eruption does.

    I guess people will have to learn to handle eruptions like in 1.0, keep the far back open so people have a place to run.

    And FYI, Titan feels a bit easier now that the server updates your position a lot more frequently. Only time someone got hit with Weight of the Land yesterday was from being outright surrounded by 3.

    Almost what Estellios said. How it worked before, was when you stunned something for the first time, the diminishing returns timer started ticking down. Now, however, it starts ticking down once it actually takes effect. ie once you stun him for the third time in a row and the 4th would be immune, is when the timer starts.

    Also, i'm sorry, but Ifrit in 1.0 could not be stunned, you had to dodge eruptions. I doubt that "cheesing" all of his eruptions was intended. Helpful when you can of course, but not intended.

    Fair enough and I would be okay with it but for the fact that it seems to go against the game philosophy of making older content easier as new content comes out. I fight Garuda Extreme and then go help someone in my FC on Ifrit Hard Mode and actually have more trouble with the latter. "Cheesing" eruptions may not be intended but taking that out makes the fight harder and the reduced damage from eruptions isn't enough to compensate for that. I mean, it's not a BIG issue or anything but it just feels strange to me.
