Vanity Slots

though I fear the forthcoming vanity system because all people will do is use it to run dungeons on their Miqo'te in swimsuits.

I humbly ask for the love of final fantasy that the vanity slots be at-least restricted to gear that your class/job can already wear. Because a warrior wearing a white mage's AF gear will break any remaining tread of immersion this game still holds.

From what I understood it's something like transmog in WoW. It'd like it to be restricted to disciples of magic and to disciples to war. I too wouldn't want to see a melee in a caster robe and vice versa.

So you're saying DoH/DoL shouldn't be able to have any vanity then? what did they do to deserve that?

There isnt enough info in regards to what the system will actually be. What we do know is that it is no longer going to be an individual slot system and that its most likely not going to be called "Vanity".

People just seem to turn down the possibility of Transmog because they either hate WoW, or think its going to be GW2's crappy transmutation system.

Transmog sounds a lot like the 'vanity' system in Tera - which is a royal pain in the backside. I do hope, for user friendliness if nothing else, they don't go down that road.
