    My understanding is that they in fact had to adjust BC drop rates so I thought I'd just ask what others have experienced...

    If you roll a 6 on a 6-sided die 8 times in a row, you almost certainly have a loaded die as the chance of such a thing occurring randomly is (5*10^-5)%. If you roll it 24 times in a row.....Of course this is not how random number generation works for computers. I would also assume that each drop is actually weighted intentionally based on the party configuration required (?)

    Incidentally, Brutikus, your analogy is backwards. The more sides the die has, the more quickly the chances of getting the same side multiple times should diminish. Sinth's is a much closer analogy to what my initial observation was.

    Edit: I just realized that my groups' and my perception might simply have to do with the fact that there are "tank", "caster", and "healer" gear sets and then "monk", "dragoon", and "bard" sets for the physical DPS classes.
