Gathering nodes selection/sound

Time: Since Patch 2.1 release
Frequency: All the time
World name: Adamantoise
Character name: Benjamen Zamitto
NPC name: Gathering nodes
Class/Level: Miner/Botanist 50
Party or solo: Solo
In-game time: All the time
Area and coordinates: All areas/zones
Steps:
1. Select gathering node (Lush vegetation etc.)
2. Select item to gather
3. Click the item multiple times

What seems to happen is there is a constant clicking sound and the highlight around the selection flashes at the same time when selecting to gather. I can still gather but it's slightly distracting to hear the clicking noise constantly whereas before the patch it would just do it once regardless of how many times it was clicked until the next actual attempt.

Can anyone else confirm this? I was told to create another thread due to insufficient information.
