How do you come up with the designs for them all? I'm not a graphic artist personally, but I'm always interested in how any kind of artist or designer go through their work process.

Thank you, that's a pretty high compliment! My degree is in general visual arts, so I've had to figure out a lot of graphic design stuff on my own.

I like to experiment with styles from various periods. I browse Tumblr a lot because there are a ton of great curations that I can draw on. Art nouveau/jugendstil are big players. I check design blogs daily -- The Dieline is superb, and of course Oh Beautiful Beer.

As far as actual concepts...Sometimes puns just pop into my head or I'll have an idea based on conversations in-game or from things I see/do. I actually have an idea for two more beer labels like this one, thanks to a kind person on Reddit who inspired me!

Thank you! I used a combination of an engraving plugin for PS with some manual adjustments of my own across both PS and Illustrator.

Fonts: Stay Gold (worth every cent), Futiða, Acknowledgement, and Sanchez Slab.

I see! Tumblr is a very good place to draw inspiration or motivation from, and there's definitely plenty of graphic arts on there for you to look through. I always had a thing for old-timey '50s era posters myself, and yours are close in design to those so I love them even more (though I'd always look forward to seeing you try your hand at a real '50s era FF-inspired poster too!). It's very cool that you're mostly self-taught in graphic design, you've obviously taken to it well if these posters are any indication.

(also if you have a Tumblr where you show more of these off, I'd really love to follow you! As I said, I'm not graphic design myself, but I really love looking at them and your work is beautiful and fun!)
