Not receiving new main story quest

I completed the quest "Power of Deduction" yet I was never offered another main story quest, I can't find any NPCs with the main story quest icon above their head. I go to my recommendations to see if I need to go somewhere else, but a main story quest isn't even listed on that.

Have you checked with "Aethelmaer." That NPC should be the one to provide the next main story quest. Talk to that NPC and see if you get the quest "Secret of the White Lily" even if you dont see the main quest icon check with that npc first.

Also, make extra sure you have indeed completed the entire quest.

I checked with him already, he has nothing to offer me. My list of completed quests says I already did "Secret of the White Lily" about five quests ago, and Power of Deduction is listed on there so I did finish it.

That is awkward, what lvl 28 main story quests have you completed. If I'm not mistaken secret of the white lily should be after power of deduction. Let me look around o_O

Ah nevermind, I found it. I went to Minfilia again. She didn't have a quest for me before but she does now...? Whatever, either way it's fixed. Thanks though!

Yesh, sometimes you have to leave the area and come back to get the main story quest activate.
