    So do you think I'll be fine not getting Hoplite unless it just happens to drop.

    Unless they changed the drop rates substantially, if you're spamming WP or AK for tomes, you'll end up with plenty of Vermilion and Hoplite gear.
    I still keep the Hoplite Head/Body and Legs/Feet, simply because going from Darklight (2-piece) to i90 (2x 1-pieces) for Tanks is awkward without it.

    In terms of dungeon progression though, since the Dailies reward extra tomes now you may find yourself grabbing Darklight "too fast" to worry about it.

    RE endgame gear progression, once you start looking at Coil you need to be careful of the Accuracy caps (~482 for Tanks for T5). Don't just equip gear because it's a higher ilevel!
