Treasure maps?

Do we need to be a level 40 gatherer to find a map or just need to be level 40 to participate in the treasure hunt(or both?)?

Maps are found in lvl 40 nodes. Meaning once you can tap such lvl nodes you will start getting them. On the level of participation, I have not tested it myself yet with lower levels.

I found my first treasure map at lol 37 botany. Just have to be 36 to farm lvl 40 nodes. :-)

Yes that is what it appears to be.

Correct! Maps only spawn in 40+ Nodes, and can vary from Boar, Peist, Frog, etc. Each one having their own difficulty.

You CAN participate in a map lower than 40 as I know we accomodated a 35 and he was able to get rewards. (However mobs can spawn depending on the map that are way higher than that level.)
