Auction House is Bogus

I hate the Auction House it doesn't have a use but to buy more expensive things than just what you can buy in the npc stores. This is the only mmo I have seen that doesn't allow buying and selling of green and purple items on the auction house. To you developers you should take a lesson for other mmos and allow green and purple on the auction house. Learn from other MMOs please just please allow them on there for people to have help and can spend the money why must you do this.

Selling items that are drops from high level dungeons is only a bad idea.
Those item are earned.
Also, it would open up opportunities for the RMT.

lol seriously? What other MMOs have you played if you have no idea what RMTs are? I have only played 3-4 MMOs and every one had non-sellable items. Although, the color scheme in most is different from this one.

RMT = Real Money Trader

People/Companies farm items and acquire gil then sell the gil to players through external websites using real $$. Which is against the EULA everyone accepts to play the game.

Considering the guy started out trying to establish he's an MMO veteran or something, the laughter was very, very well justified.

I did not know what RMT was either, but I have played Evercrack (oops Everquest) and WoW. The reason I did not know what the acronym meant, is I never participated in such activities. Thanks for the education

Dzemael Darkhold green gear can be sold in the Market Boards. Though not a top level dungeon, at 44 to enter it is a fairly high level one, with only Aurum Vale between it and the level 50 dungeons.

The idea, though, that other MMO's have behind selling that higher level gear is simple : it allows someone who leveled up in lower level areas to obtain gear that would allow them to adventure in the higher level areas and get even better gear from them. Having top level gear drop in dungeons only to be sold on the board is silly. Having gear drop from a somewhat lower level area, so that people can sell it to those who need it so that the buyers can then use that gear to get better gear makes a lot more sense.

That said - if you want dungeon gear, rather than crafted gear, go get it yourself! Patch 2.1 will, by increasing the experience found in dungeons, make them at least competitive with FATEs, if not better. That will increase the people running them and decrease the time spent waiting for a healer or a tank to queue up for it. Even now, before then, dungeons are a lot more fun than the boring, repetitive FATE grinds.

BTW - "RMT" is a term I'd not heard until Squeenix used it, though I don't know who they got it from. It stands for "Real Money Transactions" and refers to the purchase of goods, money, and/or services in a game for real money. Buying/selling gil is against the rules, as is buying a powerlevel, or paying someone to log into your toon to run you through the Relic quest. Technically, those people selling Titan HM runs for the Relic quest are not violating the prohibition on RMT, as they sell the runs for gil, rather than real cash.
