I dont even have an opinion on the community. Most likely there will be spam though. It doesnt have to be so black and white btw, you CAN have other options. It doesnt have to be global chat or not, theres alot of ways which you can have the things you like.
I dont understand what the quality of the community has to do with anything.

As you are quoting me, let me then reply to your post.

Did I say anywhere in my post that it has 'to be global chat or not'? Did I say there was no other options? My only statement was to say that a global channel is not the problem per se, it's what people make out of this feature.

I could also say the same thing about 'Most likely there will be spam though': there are a lot of ways you can have a global channel without spamming problems.

The fact that you 'dont understand what the quality of the community has to do with anything' does not surprise me
