Hellll yeah.Global chat channels needs to be implemented in the game.
Also, language localization channels would be nice as well as per someone's comment below. Just thought I'd edit the post to make it easier for devs to find should they read this.
Also, put in toggle options for on/off to allow the naysayers to play the game in silence. Won't affect them.
Also, make default global chat channels that always exist; General, Trade, Repair.

Premium, don't you think you could turn the channel off if you weren't feeling it? Also, were you also Premium on the beta forums?
Also, does anyone have any clue why enjin is serving up old, outdated sigs?

Good idea and should have been in from the start.
Optional global chat channels I'd like to see.

After some of the stupid things I've read in Ul'Dah, big fat no for me.

Global chat in any other MMO is only used to advertise selling gold/gil or to spam other useless shit. So I vote no.
Would you guys who are saying "no" be okay with optional global and/or private channels?

I'm fine with it as long as its not a default option. I remember logging into Aion for the first time and seeing 2,000 different bots spamming selling gold. I remember having to ignore them all 1 by 1 in order to actually have a conversion on global chat.

BTW nice sig pic Wolfie hehe

Nothing will stop Rmt's from spaming you, no global chat channel just means you will get alot of /tells only reason you dont see it now is gil is worthless. I play on Trabia at EU times and ul'dah is like a graveyard you might see one shout all night and thats for a repair.
