Now I don't understand why making traveling around easy is a bad thing? How does that negatively affect the game? The other option of limiting traveling seems to have more of a negative effect.

I am surprised that no one mentioned the issue I have with Leves. To me it just makes sense. I have a job to do so I simply should be allowed to do it the moment I was issued the job. Not only does it make sense to me, its simply easy and more streamline in execution.

I think more money would be wasted in trying to fix a game in which the name is tarnished than it is to repair it. It is however possible for the game to make a turn around but the question is how long would that take and would the cost be justifiable.
When I say that it would make travelling too easy, I mean this with the idea of chocobos already being implemented in to the game. I'm guessing the development team was not planning on having chocobos taking this long to be implemented in to the game and for some reason, we still don't have them.

The current system would be perfectly fine if we had chocobos. The reason for this is because most people use anima just to get to the camps that belong in the zone they're in at that particular time. Going along with the idea of chocobos already being implemented, people would use those to travel to camps and would only need to use anima when having to travel cross-zone. Also if teleportation was free then there'd be no point in having chocobos.
I hope you can see where I'm coming from with this.

With regards to leves, the Aetheryte is used to unlock the levequests. I'll just put it down to lore and immersion really. I can understand that it does seem pointless, but like I said I doubt it will be changed any time soon.

At the moment, Square Enix is pumping in funds to the game from within the company. They have a lot of money so I can't see costs being too big a problem. I do think, however, that if they do not see consistent returns at some point in the near future they could have a change of heart. It really depends on how much their patience can last, as well as ours.
