I agree that passive/active mode switching needs to be quicker and shouldn't be burdened by an animation.

When you say "combat mode" do you mean being just in active mode or when engaged with an enemy?
If you mean just being in active mode, I agree, you're not doing anything that you wouldn't already be doing if you were in passive mode. Your HP/MP regen should really only stop when you're engaged with an enemy.

It is pretty annoying that ressurect/raise are r38 unlockable spells, they do need to consider lowering that (rank 25?).

There is currently no cost for anima when you're returning after dying so I'm not sure where you got that from. Return only costs you when you're alive.

I think everyone can sympathise with your comment about chocobos, but I disagree with your comment about teleportation. The cost for teleportation should still be there else the game would be too easy to travel around otherwise.

This is the first time I've come across this sort of complaint about leve quests so I'm not sure on what to say about that really other than that's just the way things work. I doubt this is going to be changed any time soon. I just wish there was a greater variety of leve quests (which have balanced rewards) to choose from.

As for the last part, at this point it would not be cost effective to start all over again. There has already been too much money spent on the game and to scrap it now wouldn't solve anything. As long as there is a chance that they can manage to create a miracle and the game becomes popular and a success, I think they'll keep trying to fix it regardless of what their players say.
Sorry I meant active mode and I have no problem with regen being disable while engage as you said. I am also aware of returning not costing any anima but my reading indicated that it was being tried so I didn't know if it was a permanent change; which is a good change.

Now I don't understand why making traveling around easy is a bad thing? How does that negatively affect the game? The other option of limiting traveling seems to have more of a negative effect.

I am surprised that no one mentioned the issue I have with Leves. To me it just makes sense. I have a job to do so I simply should be allowed to do it the moment I was issued the job. Not only does it make sense to me, its simply easy and more streamline in execution.

I think more money would be wasted in trying to fix a game in which the name is tarnished than it is to repair it. It is however possible for the game to make a turn around but the question is how long would that take and would the cost be justifiable.
