Still need to fix this stupid blacklist system.
Still need to fix this stupid blacklist system.
On Hyperion the day of the release there was an RMT spamming the heck out of /shout and /yell in Limsa Lominsa. Was a perfect opportunity to test the new feature that lets you right-click on a name in the chat log to blacklist.

Zero on Gilgamesh so far. It was pretty light before the patch, though. I'd get maybe two tells an evening. Haven't really been bothering with my blacklist, since the characters never stick around long enough to bother.
Im just so happy that you can right click - > add to blacklist!

I've had 13 unique RMT tells since the patch on Sargatanas. Two of them spammed the same message 5-6 times within a minute.
Reported them all. So now there's 143 on my blist, nearly half from the week of the game's launch. Only 4 deletions... /facepalm

haven't seen any yet on cactuar...but i got a feeling they will be back soon .-.

Got one so far. Blacklisted it with the new feature. Felt good about the efficiency of the whole thing.

2 tells in about 4 hours yesterday on Adamantoise.

Just a heads up, you can most likely delete 123 of those names. When RMT are banned, they don't take them off you blacklist. If you see deleted, it means the account owner manually deleted their character. Banned characters stay on the list because the character isn't deleted but locked in a permaban void forever.
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....

On Adamantoise rmt tells have quited down since the patch, but not entirely gone away. The week before the patch they were the worst ever, with me typically adding 10-20 a day to my blist.
Now, if they would only do something about the bots.
