With the release of patch 2.1, something about the Borderless Window mode changed and is making my life very difficult. I will start by stating that I play on the PC, with my wife surfing the web (with keyboard and mouse, of course) on one monitor and myself playing FFXIV on the other (with gamepad only).

I had everything set so I could use every game funcionality by gamepad, and she typed things for me when I needed to. To do so, she needed to click on my window, then the mouse pointer would appear and she would be able to type. If she didn't click on my window, the game wouldn't recognize mouse input, and I was able to use the game cursor, controlling it with the gamepad.

Right now, something changed, and it appears that the game is recognizing mouse movement outside its window, even if it's not clicked on. This means my wife doesn't need to click on my window to make the pointer appear anymore, she just needs to move the mouse over to my screen.

What is making my life difficult is that this is causing my cursor to disappear whenever she moves the mouse. Her pointer, of course, doesn't disappear when I make my cursor appear, but I need to "fight" her mouse movement whenever I need to select something. It's clear to me that the problem is because of some setting that was changed with 2.1, not the Borderless Window mode itself, since I played this way since the start of the Early Access and this was never an issue.
