Any more news on support of Addons?

Has SE said anything more about the support of Addons? I know they said they were going to use flash, but I haven't seen any news on them for awhile.

I know it will probably be awhile and I do feel SE has better things to work on, but hadn't heard anything on them for awhile. So I didn't know if SE dismissed the idea or if it's in the book, but hasn't been gotten to yet.

I've been asking Add-on support related questions since launch for the live letter questions and the question was never taken up by the devs.

They are intentionally avoiding this question. So it's clear that it won't even be in 2.2. Most likely won't be implemented until 3.0.

Honestly tho, It's only UI tools supposedly for custom created UI setups like in XxX(I'm putting XxX before more drama).
