    Dragoon Buff 2.1

    been noticing that nobody discuss about the dragoon buff, are we happy or we need more buff, and how is effect our raid/run. People were discussing alot on SMN and Bard nerf, and some on the monks too, but nobody discuss dragoon.

    Personally quite happy with the buff, i crit max at 1250 now, and jump skills is very much blend in into my rotation now. Is very much 10% buff as told

    So how you guys dragooners think about the buff ?

    I think jump needs a potency of 1000, CT needs a potency of 999 and Full thrust needs a potency of 1250. Oh and flare makes BLM too OP so I think we should have it for aoe attacks linked to STR since INT is a dumb stat. Then we'd be balanced, but mnk would still out theory-DPS us :\

    I'm pretty pleased with it so far it's just that the jumps still seems hard to fit in with my rotations/combo. A part from that playing dragoon has been awesome.

    i kind of insert powersurge, and all the dives, between GDC, including leg sweep. Its works well

    Best update... CT CLIPS ARE A THING OF THE PAST

    It will now replace it with a new one even if its buffed, and since the first hit damage of CT was raised to 200, even if its gonna clip, you're still better off just using it anyways...makes the DRG rotation flow alot smoother... (and along with other potency buffs, Fracture is now even more useless than it used to be)

    This is my favorite change, and I never hear anyone talk about it.

    all in all, having pted with a few monks similarly geared to my DRG... I honestly feel like DRG keep up with them just fine... infact, my ST dmg is VERY close to MNK (sometimes more, sometimes less) but HT giving a 15% boost and BFB 30% buff being exclusive to DRG now... We're now MUUUUUUUCH better aoe dps....

    At first I was worried Monks were buffed too much compared to us...I take it all back.

    I chain my new jumps all together in case my tanks didnt see how AWESOME i was the first time. cuz dragoon = fun, paladin = zzzz.

    Other than that, DRG feels awesome, stronger dps with those jumps being legit O-GCD skills, buff to heavy thrust and chaos thrust and phlebotomize... very nice patch for drg, owning the dps checks and really feeling like a high-value member of my group!

    i love the changes, now only if they lower the recast timers on the jumps and it would be perfection!.

    I'm not a Dragoon but I can tell that the buffs you guys got are huge.
    On paper it looked like they overbuffed Monks and neglected Dragoons but as far I can tell you guys can pretty much keep up with our ST damage, Monks still do more sustained damage overall but the gap isn't as high as it was before.
    Now it's almost unfair that Monk still has the worst AoE damage.
    I like the changes and think you guys are on a fine spot now.
