If they'd make a trial, there would be no reason to do anything else in the game anymore. ARR raised the bar A LOT with that specific addition.

The story in 2.0 is total garbage compared to what we got in 1.0 in the first place. The cutscenes suck. If I have to see one more shitty cutscene with Cid I'll scream. I hate the guy. He's uninteresting and a pretentious douche. Static camera cutscenes bore me to tears... and all people do is stand and yack to each other in every part of the story.

Do you really think that the camera work in this cutscene was regularly used in 1.0? Your description of the ARR CS also fit to most of the 1.0 CS
