Umm, I don't know what prices are like on your server, but I think you would have saved a ton of gil having one DPS set and one Tanking set, rather than overmelding IV materia. The jewelry is cheap. Materia is expensive. 4th melding Savage Might IV? Yikes!

When you said this, I immediately figured that you're legacy. I thought blowing 500k on my jewelry was silly, but this would be around 5 mil for the set -- if you could even get access to the pieces. Those who even have that kind of gil aren't willing to spend it on that. I mean, hell, you end up with something better than an ilvl80 DPS piece, but the cost is just too much for most of us to accept.
