Opening the Crystal Tower NPCs SPOILERS

Sorry if this has been addressed already.

We have a new npc that helps us to open the crystal tower and they seem to take great pains to show the tattoo symbol on his arm, which is of course the symbol of Yevon from ffx.

We know they are adding element from the other games and that the espers from xii are popping up everywhere and in the littlest of details. Does this mean Yevon will be making an appearance as well? Or did I miss other places this symbol is used?

It's the first time I've seen that symbol in ARR myself, but I believe it's just a small homage to FFX like they've done eg. Eyes on me FATE/Quest as a small nod to FFVIII or the "Cloud says: Whatever..." in the chat settings.

If they added the symbol to an npc that seems to be coming in as a more major player (with the way he scouted you and such before we met him) my thoughts are that its a more prominent thing. Fate and quest names are one thing but adding a giant tattoo to an npc involved in something like crystal tower is quite another.
