    Thank you Square

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn overall is awesome and the 2.1 update made the game even better. PVP is pretty balanced and over the top fun, with the new duty finder update I got 3 back to back Amadoor Keep runs in 2hrs. Overall the game is headed in a good direction.

I'll agree with you. This was a solid update and made the game more enjoyable. So if this is an example of how they plan to improve upon the game it bodes well for this game's future.

I'm not as thrilled as you about the PvP though. It is balanced pretty well though and could be fun. But I dislike the enclosed/arena-like format. But if they open it up some in the future I do think I could get into it.

Flaws aside, I agree this has been a solid first update for XIV. The new music for some towns is a nice touch (I liked the Sylph town music, surprisingly). I haven't been much for PvP (especially the kind in certain MMOs that allows meatheads to challenge level 1 people from the moment they leave town) but I'd be curious to see what this is about.

Duty Roulette seems like a really good alternative to FATEs and repeatedly going through the same 2 dungeons for books. I'm also sure Beastmen dailies will be a great means of getting extra gil (Need 5 more levels on Bard to try it out myself).
