[PC] "The server is not responding" error while trying to patch game.

Pretty much just what the title says, the game downloads for fine for about 500 MB and then I get this error. Any ideas?

Yeah I have the same problem been trying to figure out a solution for ages. Lets work this out! can you tell me if it is random? or if it gets to a certain amount of data like 50mb or 100mb. Does the download continue from where it left off or do you have to restart from the beginning?

Well I just got 90% of the download over with before it timed out, no idea what's going on to be honest. I tried disabling my anti-virus, but beyond that I'm not sure what would cause any issues on our end. I'm getting great download speeds, it just randomly stops. It appears to have picked up where the download stopped though, so I guess it's not too bad!

Well that is what I had to do. My friend has a much faster connection than I do. So last time I had to borrow his connection. It timed out a few times but then I finally got it to download. If you want any more info I am currently investigating it in my thread.
