Thread: How to cap myth 2.1?

What is the most efficient way to reach the weekly 450 Tomestones of Mythology post 2.1? High-level DR daily and then hardmode Copperbell-Haukke?

do you roulette high level, thats about 30% of the cap. THen just farm AK/WP speed runs as before...AK now is super piss easy and WP remains easy....Until someone figures out speed runs of the others, its still slower than ak/wp. If you do coil regularly, you get 50 each turn too....

I know this doesn't answer your question, but, if you do roulette high level dungeons, you will get 70-90 ToM. Since you can do the roulette once per day, and that is 490-630 ToM per week, which of course is more than the cap no matter which dungeon you do. That of course is spaced across the entire week and you could get in a group that doesn't clear a dungeon, or takes a full 90 min. in a dungeon like WP.

If you can do WP in 15 min. with the changes in 2.1, then that will take you 225 min. (3 hr. 45 min.). With a really well geared group (that I happened into in DF right after the servers were up), not knowing the dungeon, but never wiping in Haukke HM, we cleared it in about 20-30 min. (I don't remember specifically since the timer disappears after you beat the boss). Doing Haukke HM in 20-30 min. runs, it will take you 180-270 min. If it turns out you can also do Haukke in 15min, obviously it will be faster. I don't have numbers on time to complete a wipe-free Copperbell HM yet. Though, It seemed like Copperbell HM was much more mechanics-requiring than Haukke HM, which makes me think that Haukke will end up being faster.

With how I play, I will probably do the roulette several times a week, play with friends several times, and do things other than grind dungeons in the rest of my time (unless it's to level).

Reset is usually Noon PST, did you cross that barrier yesterday?

If it is noon PST, then no, I don't believe so. It should still be early morning at the Pacific when I played it.

It's at 11AM EST so like 8AM PST.

Aha, that makes more sense. So essetially I played Monday's share on Tuesday before the reset? Nice :P

For me,

Coil T1-4 = 150
CT = 50
1 DR/day

This should pretty much bring me to ToM cap.
