Issue downloading large patch files - please allow for resume of patches

    Hi there

I work on a remote site in west Africa and my internet connection is quite unstable. The game is playable, but version updates are a nightmare.

Patch 2.1 was the worst so far. I use a 3G connection, which is great for playing, but horrible for the version updates. Download speed started ok but would eventually slow down until connection to the server was lost, starting all over again.

The 3 GB patch ended up consuming over 6 GB off my data plan due to the constant start overs. I did notice that if I'd go over the 1 GB threshold, the game would stop download to install something, then resume from there. If the connection was interrupted afterwards, the total files would now be 1GB smaller.

However, this is a really bad patching system. 1 GB fractions of the patches are not suitable for all network environments. Please make this smaller or provide a way to manually download the patch files (allowing for a download manager capable of resuming the file transfer). We desperately need an alternative to download these large patches. The first big patch, right after the game's release, was as bad as this and it was quite smaller. Please give us an alternative to the game's launcher downloading system.

This is my biggest wish: provide a way to manually download the patch files, allowing for a download manager capable of resuming the file transfer
