high roulette feels like russian roulette......last wp run lasted 40 mins, usually it takes like 12 to finish it......so i actually lost mythos points due to the random nature of the stuff :-/

I found it interesting. I've done WP hundreds of times like you guys, but I never found a group that could ever get a real speed run right. And in roulette I ended up in there with a SCH, BLM, BRD, and me WAR all decked out. And we beat it in 14 mins. The quickest I ever experenced was 20 mins at the best. And I was like holy crap. lol. I just saw the blm sprint at the start and knew finally we were going to do this. Makes me so mad I never had good speed runs until now, cause it would of cut so much time off my farming :[. Although I didn't consider that now my war has a lot more staying power with all the buffs I got. And I used them as much as I could while holding onto 2-5 groups of mobs. It felt like I was taking a lot less dmg. Lovin war as much as roulette lol.
So going back and doing the guildhests now with the introduction of the duty roulette (skipped them/missed them the first time) and....
They are damn confusing! Sometimes the instructions are actually the opposite of what I should actually do (kill the adds it says...wait...they spawn forever unless I kill the boss??). They're easy enough to clear, but am I the only one who feels this way?

Guildhests in Duty Roulette are filled with higher level players with good gear, so usually they just kind of ignore the specific guidelines and just zerg fest everything. You get a bonus for no deaths so it mostly works out.

Agreed, this is a welcome feature in 2.1

I love it. I can actually level my Conjurer in a way that mimics what I need to be doing when I hit 50. Healing stuff!
I'm so in love with the Duty Roulette. The bonus philo-tomes in just the last few days has been enough for me to buy a complete set of iLv70 gear for a Monk that I'm currently leveling. The myth-tome income from the high-level dungeons and Crystal Tower has made capping my myth tomes for the week a much nicer experience.
The only thing I can be critical about is that its too easy to gain a lot of exp, I have been on morning shift this week and just pop on to do the roulette's and a quick chat before logging... and I have leveled from 43 - 46 with just those basically.
I appreciate being able to mitigate the long leveling section in the 40's but at the same time it seems I barely have to do much bar some level 16 (highest one I got so far was a Hatali run) and some low level guildhests... and I am dinging without even bothering leaving Gridiania city these days.
... perhaps too much exp for a bonus rewarded run ? I would of been happy with extra exp from other dungeons so dungeons can compete with Fate grinds for exp, and I guess this does it but a bit too much and I havent even seen what a normal none bonus reward run offers in 2.1 .

I'm greatly dissapointed. Every single time I end up in the lv 15 dungeon. I don't see the point, since almost always everyone is level synced. Wouldn't it be more reasonable if everyone got synced to the lowest level player, and end up in a dungeon appropriate for that lv? At leastthen one person could get anything out of it gearwise. How fun is it when 4 lv 30+ people are all synced to a dungeon half their lv? Not much fun at all.
Not much of a roulette if you ask me. You might as well just change the name on it to "Here, have some exp bonus to run Sastasha once per day".
