BLM useless in PvP

I agree u can still manage to get away from a melee but imagine having a monk on u all the time, you wont be able to do the damage BLM supposed to do, i can understand if they made getting hit will make the casting time last longer but completly interupt it, thats something new.

if i use manawall (or ward, don't remember wich one) and cast bilzzard 2 i can get free of monk easily
if i run with sprint monk won't be able to do his rotation as well (at worst i can skyte)
if i run and letargy monk won't be able to do his rotation as well (at worst i can skyte)
if i aetherial manipulation to a far away party member i can freeze/slow/sleep monk
if i surecast i can freeze/slow/sleep monk
if i swiftcast i can freeze/slow/sleep monk

PvP won't be about cycle and DPS, it will be about CC

we'll have stunners but we are probabily the best crowd control class

We'll need to use all the skills wisely and make 100% out of CD

I am not bragging, it is a joke now and easy to win as a BLM,i am concerned about a two weeks from now, please read all the conversation and you might understand. Thank you

What's there to figure out? People are well aware of the different ways to cope with sleep, but the skill will never be useless. If you were even remotely good, you would understand that.

You really shouldn't try and balance constructed PvP around non-constructed PvP. It's a bad idea.

Beyond that, mages are still strong. If a melee's on you, you can swiftcast sleep, and sprint away by the time he cleanses it, then surecast it on him again. This is also assuming you don't have someone helping you.

The only difference is once people get ways to handle sleep, BLMs will be strong but fair, instead of "LOLOLOL DOUBLE BLM SLEEP TEAMS GO."

I agree with you there but thats now when u actually can sleep but after players get the pvp skill cleanse(or w/e the name is) and healer get a better reactions time to handle the sleeps, and players actually pots it too, thats what i am actually concerned about. And after you sleep a target 3 times and he get away with it,u cant sleep him anymore or the duration will be so short u will notice nothing.

Well at least when players learn how to PvP and avoid sleep, THAT wil make BLM useless and dosnt affect the outcome of a fight as a class and as a player.
Honestly, they cant dps if they have a half melee class on them.

they advertised pvp with a trailer long time ago. and in the vid, a blm fell on his knees before a brd. They had already planned to make blm a joke in pvp since beta.

Double BLM. Theirs a lot of things we can do to stay alive

Purify/Equanimity/Night Wing are a must.
Bait the purify with night wing then swiftcast sleep, depending on the situation.

Usually have to do that with melee dps, if they don't ill freeze them in place. By then my War and BLM have completely obliterated the healer. Raging flare is nasty. If I got aggro cause of 'sleep' ill pop Equanimity Mana wall and throw a fire or two. From there its usually cake. PvP gear is a must. Keep relic weapon tho

WHM is kinda crazy in PVP. Seen 3 PT members drop and their WHM kill the MNK then the WAR.
Took a while but damn, Holy and benediction is a beautiful thing.
