I think I found part of our problem. Before, it didn't matter if you moved the camera by pressing L1+R-stick, or moving the R-stick+L1. Now, however, if you hold down L1 while moving, then use the R-stick to adjust the camera, you won't auto-run. Start moving the R-stick and then hold down L1 to change the camera zoom, and you'll enter auto-run. So for now, try holding L1 first while you're moving, then adjust the zoom. It's worked all but a few times for me so hopefully it will work for all of you, too =)

I tried to figure out if there was a preferred order to trigger the buttons, but I could not come to the same conclusion. I will give it another try though.

Before the patch, the game could make the difference between when the R stick was pulled at the same time than L1, and when L1 is pressed alone. And did not activate the auto-run. Now it is automatic : L1 pressed while running : auto-run. Regardless of any other button pressed at the same time.

Of course, you can "turn off" auto-run by pressing L1 again, but you need to have your hand off the L stick so that you do not give movement orders to your character at the same time.
But in situations where you have to be always in motion and adjust the camera (Titan, PvP ...) it becomes very annoying to try to cancel auto-run and avoid your character making large circles while you try to change direction.
