Same, I'd like to, too. Hehe
PS3 limitations. Please look forward to it.
yes its something i wanted to see for a long time.
The PS3 being the reason is complete crap. it does have limitations, mainly load times ( something to do with its HDD and lack of RAM) and a allot of people sorted it out by putting in an SSD drive.
I don't think its the PS3 stopping this because games like GTA5 allow swimming. its more likely the lazy ass developers etc thought it was to much work.
I'm on a PC but i ill defend either when complete bullshit is mentioned about either platform.

Considering no other FF game allows you to swim (no, riding a submarine to an 'underwater cavern' doesn't count), somehow I don't see ARR allowing that any time soon (and besides, the development team have already stated it's because they would have to devote time to adding 'underwater' areas which would eat into processing resources.
Personally I'd much rather the existing surface zones be expanded upon/new ones added/missing zones brought back, rather than some cheep underwater stage that would just look like the first part of Sastasha Seagrot repeated ad nasum.

I'll never forget when I first tried to run and jump into one of the rivers in the shroud only to hit an invisible wall. It was so dissapointing.![]()
