Bard relic quest

I recently got to 50 on bard and tried to get the quest for my relic weapon and Gerolt won't let me. He only shows my black Mage stardust rod quest which I'd rather not continue at this time.

I've tried abandoning the stardust rod quest and seeing if it shows up and nothing it only lets me take the black Mage relic weapon quest. I've tried several other things as well nothing seems to make the quest show. Am I over looking something or is this an issue that needs resolved?

I've read other post from other bards experiencing a similar issue..

Ive also just got my bard to 50 ive completed all the bard quests and want to start my relic quest but when I go speak to gerolt he doesnt give me the quest. I did not have this problem getting my other 3 relics it seems the patch has done something.. :/

In order for me to submit your report, I will need some more information. You can go Here and you can find templates for Windows and PS3 that represent the kind of details we need.
