I've expressed my opinion on this on a few threads. The issue can easily be fixed by increasing melee range by 1.5 yrds or adding a PvP 40% movement snare to all melee classes.
Sure, give everyone a 10s snare on a 7 min CD. Those are the stats of the interruption immunity ability for casters unless you dump 6-9 points into it. The other 6m50s all your non-Surecasted/Swiftcasted spells are canceled immediately.
There are TP restoring abilities and now there are TP restoring potions. It's not like if you catch the caster he can frost nova or deathcoil you. The vast majority of my time spent in PVP so far has been me sprinting around spamming Scathe and waiting for Aetherial Manipulation to come off cooldown. Even a max range Aetherial Manipulation buys me < 3 sec to cast before i have melee smacking my face again preventing me from using anything with a cast time.
