Those are the numbers that came along with the error message in the thread title. I've tried everything from deleting the download folder on my C Drive, turning off antivirus and firewall, and even tried to download the patch in safe mode. I even uninstalled and reinstalled, only to find I now have to download ALL the patches instead of one.

I've searched the internet tirelessly for a fix and I've been unable to download the stupid patch because this error always pops up. Please look into this matter for me. Advice from officials or anyone else would be much appreciated.

I am having the same problem as well.

I've disabled all start up items. Same error.
Restarted in Safe Mode with Network. Same error.

I'm connected directly to my cable modem. There are no firewalls. I'm also set as the DMZ for this computer.

same lame ass error here, did all the above as well, have this issue each patch, eventually it works somehow

Glad to know I'm not the only one having this problem. It's been three days since I've resubbed and I still haven't got to play at all because of this.

these issues have been a problem since beta =\ you would think SE would at least give us an explanation.

i have been downloading the game to try and fix crashing issues following the 2.1 patch. I have been struggling all day, with constant restarts of the download. In the end, i did 3 things, that either together, or maybe just one of them fixed the speed. 1. I activated a vpn connection 2. i disabled my anti-virus(avg free) 3. i disabled windows firewall

I will of course turn on the firewall and AV after the download completes in 5 minutes, but yeah, that seems to have done the trick.

If your connection is stable, pls try to limit your bandwidth to 700kb/s by use netlimit pro or something like that.
I think may be some error when you loading with high speed internet (my connection speed is 5mb/s, always failed for 50+ try)
For me, this method can be passed the patch at first time after tried all suggested ways from another ppl.

I tried the netlimiter, but it has no release version for windows 8, which is what I (unfortunately) have. Please keep the possible fixes coming people. You guys are being a lot more helpful than SE is at this point.
