Script Error on launcher

This morning I just started getting an error when trying to launch.

if i click no to continue running scripts on this page, the launcher is stays blacked out, if i say yes another script error happens.

after yes or no on this one it also just leads to a blacked out launcher. I've tried running as an administrator, restarting my computer, redownloading and installing the client. Changing the values in FFXIV_BOOT.cfg, deleting FFXIV_BOOT.cfg.
Can anyone help me?

So far there has been no fix for it, couple of us started having that same problems since yesterday some the day before, who knows anymore really. Just got to wait till SE decides its time for them to look at this issue, or one of our fellow FFXIV guys to figure this out."I'm going with the second option of one of our players coming out with the fix"...

Well that's disappointing. I only had a couple hours free today to play and max out my myth caps this week...

Found a solution to this problem. Go to start>all programs>accessories>system tools>system restore. pick a date when your FFXIV ARR was working properly then proceed with system restore. hope that helps everyone out but wow SE good job on helping your monthly paying customers out (sarcasm).

Also suddenly encountering this after being able to login fine an hour ago. Have tried all mentioned above and still just see a black screen when starting the launcher and then get the same scripting errors as the OP. :/

on 11/11/2013 internet explorer 11 was released as update for windows 7.
Can you check if it got installed? That may be messing with the login function of the client.

The system restore didn't do much for me, I now get a different script error

bump. same error but after updating to internet explorer 11 i no longer get the element and other errors i get 3 "error"

I'm getting the same exact problem. Tried almost everything I could thing of. Nothing work. Any solution yet?

I get the same error but I cannot do a system restore because I am working on my comic book and will lose several days worth of progress. (If I try to put the files on a flashdrive it will change their format and merge the layers of the drawings making them uneditable later.) I use windows 8.1 and have tried just about everything else. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, reset my computer, tried fixing the script in the files. Nothing works. I hope to goodness they fix this soon.
