If that's true, what is the point of AF+1 gear? Allagan renders that stuff useless. While Darklight gear is obtainable for doing a huge amount of things with no limits. Darklight gear would still be valuable as entry level end game armor. While CT requires a lot of effort, and isn't likely to be as popular a gearing up method.

What we have now, renders CT completely useless. The entry level raid...worthless. So how is what we have no so much better? How is watching gear that the party worked hard for, delete itself simply to make progress more arduous, a good thing? every other mmo has been able to figure this out, why can't Square-Enix?

AF+1 is i90 and in many cases better optimized in stats vs. allagan. CT gear is i80 and clearly better than darklight for every piece on every class. So I don't know where that analogy is coming from. Also, you cannot no limit farm coil.

Also, CT is not worthless in the least. My static's WHM has been raiding coil with us for 5-6 weeks now and only has 3-4 pieces of i90 gear. Plenty of slots he could upgrade to i80 while he waits for Allagan BiS or could start farming for his BLM alt.
