I was thinking next hard mode will be AV As it is, it probably wouldn't take that much tweaking. From what Ive seen online they could revert it to 1.0 and that could be it.

AK Nerf was in the patch notes. Some chests there drop potions now. New players will never know the old AK. Sadly.

AK was a god damn stress inducer.
Hated that damn place. I only finished it once lol.

AK wasn't exactly hard before. It was just tedious. The only "hard" element in the instance is still there, unchanged, which is the Demon Wall.

This what killed it for me.
It's the part where we're all scrunched up in that little box and it's sooo hard to heal lol.
It's a nightmare for WHM, bah.

Medica is your friend...really, the only healing you need to do on the Wall (pre-patch anyway) was an occasional Medica or Medica II...maybe throwing a Cure on someone who gets unlucky and keeps getting hit by the random attack, or Esuna on a lazy party member...

did they change the bosses? from what I had heard it was just the trash mobs that got changed.

Totally legit. Since now demon wall can be downed even before second repel.

That was possible before 2.1 although it was much more difficult to do.
