Did scholars just get a nerf on range or something?

Today I've been seeing "target is not range" when attacking when it feels like I'm at the right range. I can't use energy drain unless I'm practically right next to the enemy. Did something get changed recently?

Weird you should say that...yesterday I ran a couple of instances and I got the out of range message where I never had before.
Seriously, even in small areas

I put it down to lag/bug/annoyingness

Have seen a "out of range" message recently that was clearly buggy. Maybe your issue is similar.

At Twintania I'm tanking 2 of the little snakes (Hygeia or whatever) and getting the "target out of range" when trying to melee them. I have agro, they are hitting me with melee, so they should adjust their position to be close enough to hit me. And yet repeatedly I got that message (standing still during that time).

Adjusting my position was able to get past the problem, but should not have needed to do so.

Probably it is a simple non-synchronization of character positions: when check for snake hitting me it thinks is OK position, when check for me hitting snake it thinks position is different and out of range. Your issue could be the same non-synchronization of positions. Bugs, lag, etc. =/

I haven't noticed any issues that are SCH specific. I've definitely been having out of range issues as WHM too. After running CT over a hundred times, I know my range on the MT for KB but in the last few runs, center of the room was suddenly too far. I practically had to sit right behind KB before my Cures would go off.
