I highly doubt anyone in ilvl 55/60 gear can do this dung. as it's meant to be. Does anyone else agree?

It's only the first boss that's a problem really. It's a bit like Titan HM in that it requires people to use very specific tactics that most simply aren't capable of. It really sucks that the DF Roulette for lvl 50 stuff is gonna be constantly PS for a while now because a random DF party is VERY unlikely to be able to get past that first boss.
Yeah the tuning seems all over the place. The first boss is a huge brick wall, then the second boss seems about right, then the third boss just like falls over when you look at him, and then Siren is like HAHAH HAVE FUN RUNNING BACK AFTER ALL THE WIPES!!
Yeah my 2 DF attempts at Pharos on the first boss were not so good. Still not 100% sure on the mechanics of it and haven't found any info yet.
The first time I ran it today the first boss was definitely hard but we got it down cause the tank knew the fight and handled it really well. The second time I ran this dungeon? Wow that first boss was really hard. The WHM had me pull out my Titan summon for the first half on the main boss as the tank aggroed the dogs with the DD dpsing them down and then when my Titan died we switched tactics with the tank back on the main boss and I LBed the last of the dogs that spawned and we burned down the boss.
The second boss? I hate it with a passion. The little birds have too much HP for adds. :T Downed it magically my first time I ran the dungeon but we could not do it on the second run I did no matter what we did.
I think the required level should be a tad higher? But I guess it depends how well you know the fight and how well you all work together.
The first boss has a lot of tricks, once people learn them like demon wall, he's not bad, though it does take quite a lot of team work not in demon wall.
Zuu was harder then the pirate IMO. Zuu would totally toast anyone if they were caught off guard, and the targetting for zuu is super sucks from all those eggs.
Siren as a last boss was about right on the dot. You can brute force her, or use her tricks.
This is the hardest 4 man dungeon in ARR right now, so it's not unfair to call it hard. It's rewards are not so much wp speed spam, but everyone learns and eventually tackles. The first time I ran it today the first boss was definitely hard but we got it down cause the tank knew the fight and handled it really well. Actually, the first boss is remarkably easy if you do everything the rest of the game has told you not to do to beat it. Namely, take your sweet, sweet, sweet time.
The adds spawn based on % of health of the boss, from what we could tell, and it very quickly becomes overwhelming when before you realize it, there might be 8 zombies running around, along with the mechanics of the debuff stacks and the aoe circles and whatnot. The trick is... TAKE IT EASY on the boss. Just let the tank hit the boss for a lot of the time. Have DPS only worry about the adds as they come, and only touch the boss once the room is clear. Seems like the adds put debuffs on the tank when the tank tries to pick up any of the adds, so the tank should only ever bother with the boss. Long as the tank hugs the wall when the Giga Smash or whatever it is comes in so the knockback isn't a problem (it barely hurts, too), it's a very easy fight. It's all about slow and very steady, not trying to force through it. My group learned that the hard way after the first 3 wipes. When we scaled everything back and took it as a slow burn, it felt effortless and we were shocked by the difference.
That is so not the strat to beat it. it risky bet to do it that way, and the dogs give whoever their opponent is the stack.Actually, the first boss is remarkably easy if you do everything the rest of the game has told you not to do to beat it. Namely, take your sweet, sweet, sweet time.

I'm sure people will get the trick eventually on the 1st boss.
