I don't know and I'm guessing here, but there just might be servers where people did buy a house.

Midgard has 1 house, a small one in Gridania

Don't even think 20mil will help pay for one between FC members(not sure they'll even want too).

That's what's happening in my FC :/ Even just said to put in whatever you can, no matter how much, still nothing except for me and 2 others.
