Housing: General Feedback (Not Pricing)

I didn't really see a thread focused on this as its kind of early but I wanted to make a thread that focuses on feedback and changes people would like to see. This thread isn't about the pricing but rather general improvements as housing picks up. Feel free to leave feedback but lets keep it positive.

So after playing around in the areas I noticed a few things I think need to be added.

Addition of a repair merchant.
I was fishing and crafting abit in the Limsa Mist area and noticed that there was nowhere to repair items. I think that is something that should be added as it makes sense considering we can craft and fish.

Fishing items in the shops.
I noticed there is a vendor that offers some mats for crafting furniture but I think other items like fishing bait should also be added as again it makes sense.

Moogle Mail
This would be nice to have as well for sending gifts.

It can be any feedback really is there something you wanna see added to the area like campfires on the beach, specific vendors, ideas for furniture it doesn't matter. I get it not alot of people are gonna buy houses for abit and that's fine but I've provided a few examples and just because we don't have a house yet doesn't mean some don't wanna hang out in the area and craft or what not. The areas themselves are really cool and its a nice change from the busy cities with easy access to retainers.

id like a 'occupy' feature: you and your (small/poor) fc mates could intrude into a big rich fc mansion until they kick you out PVP style

Currently there are no repair NPCs in the housing areas, but instead of providing a public one, we would like to make it so you can place one inside your own house.

We are also in the midst of looking into whether we can make it so NPCs that sell tools and materials can be placed inside your homes after patch 2.2. We would plan on doing this the same way in which furniture is placed in your house.

Thanks for the reply glad to hear this will be addressed. Actually I also wanted to ask if there has been any discussion of giving any kind of bonuses for this. An example being reduced repair rates if the vendor inside the player housing is used or anything along those lines?

I don't know and I'm guessing here, but there just might be servers where people did buy a house.

Tying benefits to it though and excluding people who can't get a house seems awful to me. Unless they plan to do the exact same thing for personal housing which most should be able to obtain.
