Secret Bard Nerf we weren't told about.

I'm highly upset with secret nerfs that didnt make the patch notes.

Bloodletter was dropped from 150 to 130 potency.
Straight Shot was dropped from 140 to 130 potency.

Considering the cross skill nerfs, shadowbind, and Rain of Death(which just became nearly useless) it looks like Bards took a super hard hit.

I'm tired of the Anti-Bard stuff going on, I get we were a little to strong in short (burst fights), but in Single and AOE stand still damage we were dead last. Now we are dead last even in moving fights. Our utility is songs? Then maybe we should get a song to raise damage instead of lowering it for ourselves. I'm talking about a better Foes Requiem, considering it only boost elemental damage(BLM/SMN benefit more than we do).

The only reason left I can think to bring a bard over another class is blunt arrow to silence things in coil. If silence is not needed then there is no reason to bring a bard over a BLM.

I haven't been around to this "anti-Bard stuff" that is happening, so I'm sorry I don't fully understand what you're talking about. I'm still patching.

However, according to what people are saying in the forums, Bloodletter and Straight Shot aren't affected for some reason.

Quick test (10 non-crit shots on a dummy) indicates it is probably a tooltip error:

Heavy shot (150 pot): 208-226, average 216.5
Straight shot (was 140, now 130?): 193-212, average 202.3
Bloodletter (was 150, now 130?): 208-227, average 215.8

Is it different in English client? Potency is exactly the same.

May just be a tooltip error. There's some ability that Dragoons recieved a buff on, according to the tooltip, I think it's Jump; but apparently people aren't parsing for any more damage with the ability.
