    Same error here, happening since yesterday when patch went live. Connection drops after the first 100-300MB.

    It's actually downloading on my other computer in the house on the same network... can I just paste and copy to my other computer?

    Anyone know if you can simply paste and copy within my home network or do u have to download... has to be a way.

    To Ifervan, yes copying the game from one computer to another works fine, that's how I got mine working.

    You can copy the entire contents of the FFXIV game folder from one computer to another. If the game was not previously installed on the computer you are copying to then you will have to redo any UI customization and recreate any macros associated with your account. That data is stored either in your user profile's AppData folder or in the ProgramData folder.
