[PS3] Unable to update patch files. [11006][20819][20831]

I keep getting the same error every time I try to download the patch. Basically first time I went to patch it, it downloaded the first half perfect but it then errored, now it downloads the second half and infinitely errors. This error is from disc and downloaded version. [PS3] Unable to update patch files. [11006][20819][20831]

I am also on thePS 3 as well I am on my 3 attempt.

Follow these steps and see if it helps :

1. Uninstall the BETA version
2. Go to Documents—>My Games—>Downloads and delete the ffxivpatch folder(s) from the normal version.. Also, delete the BETA in documents, as well...
3. Try game...

If this doesn't work, try run it as Admin...

I guess at least I'm glad I'm not the only one this is happening to :/
Been trying since last night to update and it'll go about half a meg to 1 gig before either timing out our giving the other error. I'm just hoping it's temporary and ps3 updates are being given lowest priority rather that have to jump thru a bunch of hoops. Dammit I'm actually excited for 2.1 too -.-

Yes I'm sure those fixes will help our ps3 version of the game.. let me just start my ps3 as admin and go delete those files. Seriously this is tech support it should be some sort of unofficial sanctuary from trolls.. oh sorry all hail before PC master race.

Ok I just got in touch with tech support and it's an issue of your router blocking ports. They asked me not to share specifics but I sat thru for live chat and they helped me out. Off to double check now>.>

Well n hour of screwing around with the port settings I was given n again no dice. Waiting to get in chat again. Going they can direct me to last guy to follow up

Welp, I tried my own method maybe it will work for you. I deleted the game and reinstalled the whole game from my game disc. I've got the patch now after a long download process. Now only having other typical server issues on an update day. Hope it works for you.
