Main quest: The Gifted, cannot find it.

So the patch notes say the quest "The Gifted" can be picked up at the Waking Sands from Minfilia, but when I go there to pick it up, there is nothing there for me from her. So....I don't know what to do. The Gifted and that last mystery quest are the only two I need to do to finish it up and I don't know where to go. Any thoughts?

On the Properties of Primals ends with you at the Waking Sands receiving your reward from Minfilia. She basically says, "Everybody already gave me the details about what you did in the Shroud, but... I want you to tell me everything again anyway." At the end of that conversation, the quest is completed.

If that rings a bell, then The Gifted can be picked up immediately turning in On the Properties of Primals. You don't even have to leave the room or anything. She just immediately switches from the green Turn In icon to the black New Quest icon. Once The Gifted is picked up from Minfilia, your first task is to speak with Urianger, who is also located in the Waking Sands. He then sends you back to Minfilia, who is still in her room, except now she looks as though she's taking a nap. You then get tasked with going outside and fighting some things in the game's patented purple quest circles, before returning to Minfilia once more to turn the quest in.

Hopefully that's enough information to help you figure out where you might need to go, without giving any spoilers away. Check your Journal to make sure you're not in the middle of one of those steps somewhere. The journal list on the main play screen only displays five quests at a time. With all of the new things to unlock right now, you could easily been in the middle of one of these quests, only to have pushed it off of your visible list by picking up even more quests along the way. So I'd suggest opening up the Journal window itself to take a closer look, and if you do have one of these quests active already, see if the info above helps you find your place. Otherwise if you find any other clues in your journal and could still use some more help, just throw another post here with what your journal says.
