Just wanted to thank the dev team for the changes they have made to dungeon EXP (at least in the roulette, not sire if it is increased when you choose the dungeon) as now i am not forced to simply grind fates all the time to level.

Yep! I'll never touch a FATE again unless I need seals for something.
They've been making me nauseous for quite some time.

Is it really that good? what about without roulette?
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....

that moment when you realize you were never forced to fate but you're stubbornness to do things other than fastest way was the problem all along.

Valid point. I know I wasn't forced to, but unfortunately it was the most efficient way to level. I love dungeons way more than FATEing,
but fact is it was painfully slower to dungeon spam. Now it's viable. Even if dungeon EXP still isn't king, even if it's still slightly below
FATEing, I'll still do it.
The dungeon exp - FATE exp was too big of a gap before, hopefully this closed it immensely or possibly made them equal.

I leveled my Marauder/Warrior to 47 doing dungeons as soon as i can, very little fate grinding till i reached 48. That was just doing each dungeon till i leveled enough to do the next one. Plus i wanted to tank decently, and figured the best way to learn it was to grind out lowbie to high dungeons for max level. It was fun, even before the XP buff. I'm excited to max out with roulette among the other options. Hell i even did Aurum Vale at 48 with a group that had new people and beat last boss on the first try, WOOOO.
Now THAT dungeon is a pain in the ass to tank... lol

To be fair, it was more than just "I want to be 50 by the end of the week" that people chose FATEs.
1. Endless waiting in DF ---now solved by Duty Roulette and EXP bonus for "needed roles."
2. Gear obtained was good for maybe a few levels (useless if you were FATE grinding and just doing dungeons for quests--though, I admit this is a chicken/egg sort of thing) -- now solved with upcoming vanity. People will have a reason to farm a particular low level dungeon i.e., better looking gear.
3. DBags-- solved by kick system
4. CSers -- solved by party finder.
5. Lack of Time (not really an issue and not really solved. FATEs are just easy things to do while soloing or want to grab some quick EXP between things).

Yay another happy soul here
I leveled my PLD mostly through dungeon but that only because I can always get an instant queue. And I still found that I have to do FATE for the last level before the next dungeon because I can only get 1/4 of the exp bar per run.
And when I try to do that as an ACN, it's just a nightmare.
I just have one question, will the exp in low level roulette be matched through all dungeons?
i.e.
lower level dungeon: lower exp per kill + higher roulette exp at the end
vs.
higher level dungeon: higher exp per kill + lower roulette exp at the end

I did temple of qarn today (lvl 34 dungeon I think?) As lvl 48 drg in the roulette. With rested bonus, I was getting about 2800 experience per trash mob defeated and then 123k experience for killing the last boss. Haven't had time yet to try other dungeons.
