The lobby server connection has encountered an error (2002)

So after the 2.1 patch that has all I have been getting when trying to run the game. I open the launcher, click play, the title screen comes up, I select my "data center" (gaia) and it starts to connect, but then for no reason the internet suddenly disappears, the game will come up with "The lobby server connection has encountered and error", I click okay, the game closes, and my internet comes back immediately. This did not happen AT ALL before this new patch. I have the disc version of the game.

It seems that there have not been any further posts about this concern being an ongoing issue. Because of this, we are considering it to be resolved.
