Are you doing PVP as a healer using DF? Or with a premade?
In my experience, PVP with a pickup group of randoms is always terrible for a healer. Doing it with your guild or some friends is always a MUCH different experience, and always MUCH more enjoyable.
There needs to be strategy involved. It can be a lot more difficult than PVE, but you still need to plan, communicate and fulfill your roles to be successful. Not just SMASH, KILL, RAGE. Which is typically the "go to" game plan for PUG groups.
well I'm guessing no one has the equivalent to resilience yet, I still find it stupid in many ways how they set it up though. Kiting and healing up as a healer in WoW typically involved actually being able to heal the group as well. That is unless they setup an excellent dmg/cc burst.
I'm lazy so I'm just copy/pasting this. Truly if you want to just face roll team after team after team follow this.
Form a team with 2 BLM, a PLD and WHM. sprint rush the enemy team, and Swiftcast sleep with the BLM's on 3/4 enemies. 1v4 the remaining sucker using stone I or blizzard to slow them down with the tank stunning. rotate sleeps with the blm's and continue to 1/4 until people are becoming immune to sleep. Spam holy to lock enemies down for 6 seconds(3 straight casts of holy). Proceed to reuse fully potent sleep again.
My issue with healing this game pvp is only one, EVERY SINGLE hit reset your cast.
its complete bullshit imo. sure you should have one or two resets, but after that your cast will complete at least once.
OH and the freaking tank stun, 6s its a kill if the whole team is on you, they should nerf that for PVP ONLY, i dont see a reason for more than 3s stuns.
Sleep is getting countered pretty easily now. As long as people stay spread out, you can nullify Sleep really easily. As for teams bum rushing the healer, that's good for your team. They can have a Tank solo harrass the healer while your other two DPS wails on the DPS. It's really not as simplistic of a strategy as, "Sprint, Sleep, Go for healer".
Pvp is far from balanced. Even when I am far away, warrior tomahawks me from afar and it interrupts my cast. Pvp for healers is complete shit. Its not balanced in the.slightest

If your in a group all you do is have 1 person mark enemies, 1, 2, 3 and ensure you snag the healer so they can't esuna the sleep off. Glad to see everyone is having these same issues. I love this game and truly hope they continue listening to players and fix this, because right now, its not even fun in the slightest. I don't want to play another class just to experience one aspect of the game. I like sticking to one class I enjoy and expect it to be usable in any game content, at this moment, it is not. Here's to hoping Square listens and does something to fix this.
Beat this strategy of sleep with 2 blm earlier, we just all purified then I did fetter ward, knocked off protect and killed one of the blm, then we focusd the other down while ccin the healer and tank, healer resd the blm, whom we focused down again, after that we just killed healer and tank. sleep might work before people get purify and use different skills, but afterwards you have to really watch out when wasting cds and resistancesIf you run 2 BLM with WHM that gives you 3 separate sleeps with swift cast at the start.
