I played Monk and Mesmer a lot in GW1 and 2. In GW 1, it was sometimes questionable whether I would be first on the kill list as monk. However, as a mesmer, it was almost certain.

Imagine a light pole and you have stray dogs trying to hump you profusely. That's what PVP feels like for a healer. Still have nightmares of Marauders dry humping my Sorc. in Swtor :S.

All mmo's are train the healer, but this is the first one i played where auto attack renders me nearly useless. Trying to get anything but instacast off is nearly impossible, that's just really really dumb. I just run circles like an idiot and lustrate, my fairy dies within the first 10 seconds since it stops to heal and i can't stop her from doing that, so i just kite the whole team and use 1 skill.
They need to really give healers some more fun, because the incentive just isn't there. Only stuns and interrupts should stop our casting, there already are plenty, adding in white damage is just retarded. This way i could at least save cds and kite to get people to blow their interrupts and then be able to actually cast stuff.

I used to play healer in BGs in WoW back when it was good and in a few others games and found that people have the problem where they think as a healer and not a pvper. Remove your job crystal and get practice using your classes. There's a TON of abilities to swap to and use on the fly.
*edit[* Anyone bother using Bliz? :/
Casting gets interrupted by melee damage and WHM has no insta heals besides swiftcast. Also casting L.O.S. is still an issue where losing sight of your target cancels cast. I will be ignoring PvP completely till they un gimp casters.
Learn and develop kiting skills eh? Ok cool, maybe I could if I could survive through ONE stun or ONE silence, let alone 4 that the mob has. Its totally ridiculous and its not fair to the people who play healer classes. So obviously if you are saying "kite" then you havent played a god damn healer in pvp in this game. There is no such damn thing.
Just keep practicing.
My prediction: SE will keep war amazingly devastating in PvP so later down the line you must do lolPvE to get PvP stuff... and that will fix the 'lack of tank' issues. /pets cat.
Find a BLM duo and bring him to the team, and you'll solve the problem.
Right now, BLM is the most dangerous and 1st priority for wolves den. In a premade & good team match, never once is a kill priority. Healer is 1st CC priority.
But if you against my opinion due to lots of QQ thread in DPS role forum, I'll say one thing. "Try pvp with JP wolves' den BLM' and you'll get your result.

I assume its going to be harder for CNJ/WHM than SCH.
Yes healers were always the #1 target in MMOs, but they always had ways to deal with it.
Aion: Chanter/Cleric had heavy armour, MR/Parry or MR/Block sets, and all had access to quick/inst cast abilities that made them impervious or were strong heals. Strong HoTs were always helpful.
Rift: Same as above, although armour wasnt really much of a thing. Quick strong heals, strong hots, CC (senti), and pushback resistance.
The only dumb idea i see is the there being limited pushback/interrupt resistance. Which i think is lazy. There should be interrupt skills but having any ol attack interrupt totally negates casters point, especially with the limited availability of insta cast skills for non ARC classes.
What i assume is that this too is going to be gear game and healers are going to suck until they build up enough pvp resistance since heal + defense + HP usually outscale damage v. defense + HP.
I must say, this post is actually making me want to level this char again.
The only big thing that will be a problem with this game, is that the devs are always right. And that really doesnt work with a pvp game, especially since pvp meta changes monthly. There has to be constant adjustments so balance doesnt go all whacky.
