    Furthermore, the cast interrupt is complete bullshit imo. From what I can recall in most other MMOs a crit (or a very hard hitting move) would cancel out my casts while regular hits would just stretch out my cast timer but I could still get the spell off before dieing. In here I simply get CC'd then gang banged even with Surecast up. Pvp needs tweaking further.

    In a premade team, SCH is great IMO.
    I've been running with 1 DRG 1 BRD 1PLD.
    I can see why WHM may have trouble simply because their pro is big heals, but against a party with a SCH or SMN miasma cuts their efficiency in a half with an insta cast
    SCHs shouldnt have an issue, you can negate alot of incoming debuffs with shields, heal on the run with lustrate and cover two sides of the map healing wise.

    I really want to learn how to be efficient at pvp with WHM, I'm going to keep trying until I get better at it... I'm just currently frustrated.

    The less people you have in pvp, the more single jobs are going to be targeted. This also means play styles will be limited. FFXIV's pvp could be worse, but Tera, a free game, has it down pat. Having different modes, like protect/attack, something other than just killing each other, would've gave it a bit more variety. It's relatively fun at times but this doesn't really have much long term potential simply as it is. Especially for healers.

    I don't mind the running around and kiting thing. What I don't like is that as a healer when I stop to heal someone, I'm instantly interrupted without Surecast or Swiftcast up. Damage should not interrupt my casts, period, it's dumb. It's already bad enough that if facing a BLM/WHM combo they are sleep chaining. I just feel that if they can stun lock, sleep lock, silence the living hell out of me, why the heck can I not cast my heals if damaged. Literally makes healing absolutely useless in the game, period. It's not enjoyable. Oh and sure you can task into skills to give you a 10 and buffed 20 sec "Surecast" period, but then goes on a 400/300 buffed recast timer, which by then the game will be over and you would have lost being locked down and not able to heal.

    Arena style PVP is just not for everyone (including myself). Team objective oriented PVPs (CTF, Domination, Assault) are much more enjoyable for casual players and healers. Even if you die a lot as long as your team wins you still get the rewards.

    Eh I dunno...I've done a few PvP matches and I was killed damn near instantly as the entire other team rushed me down...yes this includes the other healer. Also even if we have the shielding effect of Galvanize it won't stop debuffs if what I recall hearing in the patch notes. So even if we took 0 damage from a move meant to stun, the stun effect would still go through anyway, leaving us idle long enough for the other team to come and full on attack us.

    As much as I want to like it, PvP doesn't feel like it was built with PvP in mind. It's a new map, with some triggers to handle events, and essentially a replaced "Physical XP" and levels from 1.0 and turned it into PvP with a new PvP class. Without abilities tweaked for player versus player fighting, it just doesn't work.

    No CC should NEVER be more than 10 seconds (if full control is removed). Casting should not be interrupted without using an interrupt or stacking crit stats. The arena is too small and too open for the amount of lag involved (who here has gotten shot through the two walls we've got in there?). Healers just get smashed, and it just isn't fun to be unable to retaliate in any way. Everyone should be capable of defending themselves to some degree from the start.

    I enjoy battleground style pvp not arenas... It gets dull after the first hour even if I'm winning.

    Yeeah I usually dislike pvp, but I used to like a lot WoE in Ragnarok, even if we would always lose. And some particular formats in GW were fun if not for elitist jerks.
